Shots fired!

Today I had my monthly injection of whatever it actually is that they inject me with to block the estrogen.

When my nurse had to do her first one she didn’t know what she was doing, I guess it is important to remember that you are probably their first. It took two nurses 45 minutes to work out what they had to do and do it. Luckily now they know what they are doing and can do it much quicker.

It’s a bit worrying having a nurse hum and ahh over your treatment.

Anyway, by the time they have worked out what they have to do to mix it, it is all fine. Just don’t look at the size of the needle they are about to put in your bottom, it doesn’t do anything for the nerves which are already on edge because it took them forever and a bit to do what you would think they should know how to do.
